Having pulled off a major robbery in a jewellery store, three criminals distribute the stolen goods to several fences, however, the richest buyer can only be reached by crossing a treacherous swamp in order to avoid the checks that the police are carrying out in the territory. Along the way, after a disagreement, one of the three criminals falls into a quicksand pit in the swamp and dies. Soon after, the two survivors begin to have visions of the spirit of their deceased partner.
