Welcome to One Man & His Droid – a blog dedicated to Italian cinema, with a heavy emphasis on the obscure, lost, and forgotten.

This blog is best viewed as a scrapbook of information I’ve assembled over the years – usually related to films I’ve subtitled. The various blog posts will change constantly, with information added/deleted and generally tidied up whenever I get some free time and a dash of inspiration. Everything should be considered as work-in-progress.

The poster art is a mixture of web downloads and scans from my personal collection.

You cannot download films  here – although I have provided external links to some subtitle files scattered throughout the blog specifically for films which I believe are unlikely to ever receive an English friendly release.

Away from the obscurities documented on this blog, I have collaborated with a number of boutique Eurocult film labels, including Nucleus Films, Mondo Macabro, FilmArt, 88Films, Shameless, Subkultur, CultFilms, Arrow , Cauldron Films and others that I can’t remember… If you want to support my work then please pick up some of their releases in your travels.
